Slovenian coast and Karst

DAY 1: ARRIVAL – PORTOROZ
In the evening arrival in Portoroz, accommodation in a hotel. Dinner with seafood.

DAY 2: PIRAN – KOPER – POMJAN – PORTOROZ
After breakfast sightseeing of Piran, known also as the place of birth of Guiseppe Tartini – a great composer and violin player. Then visit to the salt fields, where salt has been produced in a natural way for more than 400 years. Then trip via Korte through Smarje to Koper. In Koper short sightseeing of a wine cellar including wine tasting.

Trip to an authentic mediaeval town Pomjan in Istria with short sightseeing and authentic dinner. Accommodation in Portoroz.

DAY 3: POSTOJNA – STANJEL – LIPICA
After breakfast trip to Postojna, visit to one of the most beautiful underground caves in Europe. Light meal in a restaurant in the picturesque Vipava valley.

Then trip to Stanjel – a beautiful little town in the Karst area including visit to a typical farm. Wine tasting and dinner. Accommodation in Lipica.

DAY 4: LIPICA – DEPARTURE
In the morning trip to the famous stable with short sightseeing. Later on we will have enough time for a typical Slovenian meal in an authentic restaurant. End of the tour.
